Have a wonderful holiday all you sailors and dirt dwellers out there. I hope you find time to share a meal with friends and or family today. Stay off your phones and Pads and enjoy each others company. I don't expect to see any blog posts today, as you should be socializing and cooking something. What? What am I doing? Oh. Nobody is even awake yet, so it's OK. Apparently it's too cold for anyone to get out of bed.

Happy Thanksgiving. Yes, but it is early and the hoards are not here yet and the turkey has to get into the oven. Do you guys miss anything about the whole Thanksgiving? Besides perhaps being with the kids. Have they ever come and joined you at the boat for one of those?
ReplyDeleteWe do miss the time with our daughters. Our immediate family is so scattered now that we have to chose who will be hosting what holiday. It's tough to get everyone together in one place.
ReplyDeleteWe have never celebrated a holiday meal on the water. There does not seem to be any interest there, but I bet when we are floating at anchor in the Islands there will be some requests for berths.
Hope you had a great time with family and friends. Pick out a nice boat for Christmas and get your butts down here :)
